Excellent work from James who came to service our Gazco Riva 2 800 gas fire. It was brilliantly installed by James and his colleagues 11 years ago. It has been serviced every year since. This year it needed some repair and the installation of some new ignition parts. The engineer from the Gazco Company came at great expense but didn’t know the cause of our problem and left. James immediately identified the cause and today returned to carry out the work. He had to dismantle completely the inner workings of the fire to gain access to replace the parts. He did a wonderful job in servicing and repairing our fire and now it works perfectly again. Well done James. Always happy, professional and knowledgeable. Unfortunately, the fire had to be condemned due to smoke coming back into the room. Yesterday was the return visit to remedy the situation. Following a thorough visual inspection a chimney sweep was recommended and a cowl onto of the chimney pot to prevent any other wildlife hoping to make their home there. I am absolutely delighted with it. I am an older person,quite disabled. . I can turn this fire on/ off by remote control while sitting on the settee. Great for any disabled person.
