We are registered members of NACS – The National Association of Chimney Sweeps (NACS), a professional Trade Association, promoting high standards for the sweeping, inspection and maintenance of chimneys. NACS Chimney Sweeps help to maintain and repair chimney stacks.
All NACS Members hold valid insurance for Chimney Sweeping and we issue a certificate in accordance with the National Industry Standards.
Chimneys need to allow the free passage of combustion gasses. Regular (at least annually) sweeping is recommended and will remove soot, bird nests, cobwebs and any other blockages. It also removes creosote, which will help to prevent dangerous chimney fires. Chimney Sweeping will also increase the efficiency of some appliances.
